Postcard From: Turks & Caicos

Why Turks & Caicos

Of all the beautiful islands in the Caribbean, Turks and Caicos is the one that I visit every year! A continuation of the Bahamian chain of islands, Turks is known for incredibly beautiful water, shallow bays, and fine white sand. Grace Bay Beach has more than once been voted the best beach in the world, and it’s not even the best on the island (in my opinion!). Though there are many hotels along Grace Bay, it’s large enough that you will have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the beauty. Compared to Nassau, Providenciales brings a local charm, slower pace, and quieter atmosphere.

Things To Do

Whether you are looking for a relaxing cabana to lay under or to take classes at Turks’ world class kite boarding school, these islands have everything you need. My favorite activities include taking a full day catamaran trip to visit nearby cays and hidden beaches and having rum punch and dancing at Da Conch Shack or Bugaloos!

Where To Stay

Most visitors to Turks & Caicos stay on the island of Providenciales. This island has all the major luxury hotels, amazing villas, a fun beach bar scene, and fine dining. It’s worth noting that there is no cruise traffic on this island! Cruise lines that do stop, visit the island of Grand Turk meaning “Provo” has retained its local charm. We’ll recommend the best hotel/villa for your group, style, and budget. Some of our favorites include Grace Bay Club, Como Parrot Cay, Wymara, and the brand new Ritz Carlton.

If you’re thinking about a vacation to Turks & Caicos, plan with us to have the best hotels, activities, and amenities!
